In New York in November 1982, Country Kids® co-founder Jo Sherratt was blown away by the icy cold winters, and immediately recognized the need for good quality, warm, comfy tights. Starting with the best natural fibers like long-staple Pima cotton and Lycra®, Country Kids® basic "signature" cotton tights grew into a small collection of whimsical children’s tights and socks sold to department and specialty stores.
